Getting ready for Dad Taylor's Birthday!

Trevor and I surprised Dad for his birthday. We hid from him as he arrived for the party.

Large Spiders Are Ready for Halloween!

Trevor found two huge spiders around our house the last few weeks. One was on the back porch, the other by the front door. Too bad we did not get good pictures of their spider webs, they were huge!

Celebrating America

Fourth of July Fireworks
Over looking the city of Las Vegas.

How grateful I am to live in this country and have the freedoms we have!

Trevor Turns The Big 26!

June 25, 2009
He had to do school stuff for most of the day so we celebrated that evening
by opening presents and going out to eat.

He got spoiled!

Look how wonderful the present looks!
He also got money so he could buy whatever he wants!

We also splurged and bought us a treadmill. This gift counted as both of our birthday presents. It is so nice not to have to worry about driving somewhere. I can just get up in the morning and work out. However, we have to be careful when we work out because we live in the upper apartment and the floor shakes when we even just walk. Luckily, the people who live below us are not home all the time!

My Best Friend's Wedding

Emily's best friend Amy Burrup got married May 9, 2009. Trevor was a great sport and he attended the sealing/wedding with me and missed his graduation. His graduation and my friend's wedding were on the same day. Love you! Thank you for coming with me! It was special for me to meet Amy's husband and see them sealed together for eternity.

The happy couples together. Trevor and me and then Amy and her husband Adam. Amy Burrup is now Amy Burrup Dalton!

Mom and Me waiting for the happy couple to exit the temple.

The day prior, Trevor got his new camera as a graduation gift and he was having fun taking pictures at the beautiful Bountiful Temple. My dad also took pictures of us on the grounds.

Next are my parents. They are so cute!

Trevor's Surprise Graduation Party

Trevor and I flew to Utah for a much needed vacation after finals week. Trevor finished studies for his degree in Master's in Clinical Psychology and was eligible for graduation. However, he was not able to graduate because my best friend Amy Burrup Dalton got married the same day he was supposed to graduate. I felt bad that he was missing his graduation so both moms and myself planned a surprise party. For a month we secretly planned and communicated through email. I called moms when I knew Trevor was out of the house for school and could not spoil the plot. We pulled it off! Trevor had no idea about the party!

Trevor and I were visiting my parents in West Valley, Uta
h and we needed to get him to Layton, Utah. So we met my grandfather and great-grandmother for dinner in Layton. Four generations of the Halversen family.

Many family and friends visited Mom and Dad Taylor's house. Trevor was glad to see them all. We could visit with people we haven't seen for a while, then we didn't have to take more time to visit them later during the trip.

Boys will be boys! Trevor is getting Paxton to run his fingers over his lips to make a noise.
