Getting ready for Dad Taylor's Birthday!
Trevor and I surprised Dad for his birthday. We hid from him as he arrived for the party.
He is visiting people as we watched.
He sees us and he starts crying! It was a happy reunion! He was excited!

- We are continuing to work hard here in wonderful Las Vegas, NM. Trevor is working on his Thesis and will be done in the next few months. He has been studying for the GRE which he will take in October and November if needed. He is working in a town 45 minutes north at the High School teaching a Psych 101 course. He really enjoys his job. He is happy he is getting paid to do something he loves.I continue doing the same old thing. I am working in the ICU at the local hospital and going to school for my BSN. I will be done in December. Trevor is the Elder's Quorum President and I am the first counselor in the Primary Presidency. Our little branch has grown and now we have help in both of our callings. We are learning every day and are growing closer together as a family and to our Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ. We are grateful for our blessings, but are looking forward to moving on. Trevor is applying to PhD school in December and we should hear back from the schools by April 2010. Stay tuned for more info!

Large Spiders Are Ready for Halloween!
Trevor found two huge spiders around our house the last few weeks. One was on the back porch, the other by the front door. Too bad we did not get good pictures of their spider webs, they were huge!

He had to do school stuff for most of the day so we celebrated that evening

He also got money so he could buy whatever he wants!
We also splurged and bought us a treadmill. This gift counted as both of our birthday presents. It is so nice not to have to worry about driving somewhere. I can just get up in the morning and work out. However, we have to be careful when we work out because we live in the upper apartment and the floor shakes when we even just walk. Luckily, the people who live below us are not home all the time!
