Time with our Best Friends!

The Monday before we flew home we were able to spend an evening with our best friends in the entire world (Ryan and Jen McGary we are talking about you!) We had a little BBQ on the barby (thats reduntend I know). It was fun to visit them because this was the first time that we were able to see the new addition to their family. Paxton Thayle McGary is the little guy that can be seen in the pictures below. The little guy is such a great baby. As we held him it made us more baby hungry than ever before. Emily made the comment that she loved being over at their house because when he cried she was able to pass him back to his mother. I in turn made the comment that we should keep him and never give him back...haha. Ryan and Jen we wanted to thank you for allowing us to be part of this special addition. We miss you guys and cherish your friendship.
I think this is my favorite picture of Emily EVER!!! Doesn't she look like the cutest mother? I can't wait for the day when we have a little tike or two of our own. Te amo mi Smoochie!
How cute is he? And the baby too!
Just another cute picture of Paxton.

Our Four Wheeling Adventure

Ya gotta love the four wheeling gear, thats us in the back and Mom on the right.
Stupid googles and helmets. We stopped to eat some lunch and me being the nice husband I am went to help Emily with her googles and helmet and the stupid things got stuck. The whole time Dad sat there laughing at us.
You can't tell but we are smiling for the camera.
How do they expect you to kiss with a face gaurd? Who was the genious that invented that?
Me playing in the mud!

I promise the hill was alot bigger than what it looks like in the picture. But I have to give props to Mom cause she went down the bigger one, but than again she tried going up one that she shouldn't have and could have had bad results but we won't go there. Love ya Mom!

Gettin Ready to Ride

Emily, Mom, and of course the other child Abby, getting the four wheelers ready.
Here's Dad pretending to know what he is doing.
That same evening Mom and Dad took us to Tempenyaki's. For those of you that don't know its one of those restaurants where they cook the food in front of you, throw sharp cooking instruments in the air, and then offer to fling shrimp your way to see if you can catch it in your mouth. Lets just say I was successful.

Utah Vacation Continued...

The day after Thanksgiving Point my mother-in-law made the suggestion of going to the temple. I am grateful for her example to always keep us on the straight and narrow. We had an amazing time at the temple and it reminded us that even though the nearest temple is two hours away, its a place that we need to frequently visit. Thanks Mom!
After the temple we went golfing at West Ridge (which should be called windy ridge). The three of us could have played better golf but it was enjoyable none the less.
The next day Emily continued her shopping spree...(Love you Smooch)! That night we met up with the old gang from high school. We met up with Chase, Kyle, Summer, Benton, and Melissa at Red Robin (Yum!!! just like the commercial). It was fun to visit with everyone and find out what everyone was up too. Oh, and those bottomless fries...amazing! Just a side note here: Summer taught me that once you sit down and are looking over the menu, you can ask the waiter or waitress to bring out fries. This way while your deciding what you want and while you wait for it to be prepared you can be chomping down on fries!

Our Vacation to Utah Continued

I thought these bath tubs were a little random but very cool looking.
These waterfalls were all hand made.
I made an attempt to roll down this hill but the bumps in the grass haulted my efforts.

We are cute!

Our Vacation to Utah

After the dreadful week of finals we had the privilege of going home and visiting our loved ones in Utah. We flew out on May 12th and stayed with Em's family for a couple days, then went up to Layton to spend some time with my family. The first couple of days, Em spent searching for home decor (since we only have a walmart here in Vegas). I believe she found all that she wanted and more!
We had the oppertunity to go to Thanksgiving Point, which I have to say is an amazing place. I would recommend the Dinosaur Museum to anyone with little ones and the Gardens to anyone who needs a romantic date.

The Dinosaur Museum and The Gardens

Us trying to be like the little kids playing in a cave.

As I walked around the corner, I saw her eyeballing me and it was love at first.....well death I guess. I think I even heard the band playing.

This was on of Emily's favorite dinos.

Never had a brother, so I decided to pick on the newest edition to the Halversen family.Use at the Gardens.

The Garden flowers were amazing.

A couple pictures of the fam. Aren't we all so cute?

If you cant MOON your family, who can you MOON?

Happy Fathers Day Dad! HAHAHAH

After 55 acres of flowers I got a little thirst....is she trying to push me in?
